Salisbury Glass Commercial Ltd accepts that it has a responsibility to the principles of sustainability and environmental awareness

Policy Statement

Salisbury Glass Commercial Ltd recognises the social and economic importance of protecting the environment. We realise that our commitment to this must encompass all of our business activities and that we should be prepared to lead by example towards our staff, our customers, clients and stakeholders in promoting a sensitive, considered attitude to the environment.

It is the stated aim of Salisbury Glass Commercial Ltd to:

We use different methods to collect data from and about you including through:

  • Achieve good environmental standards in all our business activities including the reduction, re-use, recycling and disposal of waste. 
  • Make economic use of energy, water and transport in order to minimise waste in all aspects of the business function. 
  • Regularly assess the environmental impacts resulting from our business operations and to remain fully informed of recognised best practices. 
  • Communicate this Environmental Policy and Action Plan and regular updates to all interested parties including customers, suppliers and employees, encouraging their active involvement in environmental issues.
    • Paul Thomlinson has the overall and final responsibility for the environmental policy along with the appointed Salisbury Glass Commercial Ltd Environmental Committee who will take ownership of the co-ordination, implementation and monitoring of the policy throughout the organisation.

We may use the information to improve our products and services.

The Salisbury Glass Commercial Ltd Environmental Policy and Action Plan will be communicated to all staff via briefings and a copy will be displayed on the staff notice board.

Each staff member takes responsibility for their own work area. Copies may be made available to customers on request.

This policy will be reviewed quarterly at Committee Meetings and all updates cascaded throughout the company.
